About Wye
We live in a very old village that is extraordinarily rich in history and cultural variety. Yes, we are a quintessential English village but, like the average family, the reality is much more complex. The presence of the college and the proximity of Canterbury has lent much to our history and our community voices. We have enjoyed global favour and have been graced by the presence of so many visitors. Wye is likely to experience dramatic changes, like the rest of Europe, in the coming century. We need to raise debates, focus on more than our own navels and enjoy the challenge of change. As the dictum goes “Threats are but opportunities in disguise”.
