Reminder for Wye’s Creative Folk

Just a reminder to all our Wye Artists, Writers and Photographers (and we have quite a few) that Wyeweb has a section for your work so that you can share it with those who follow Wyeweb. Don’t be shy, do send contributions  into us together with any pictures you have. We have received some really good contributions from people for our ‘About Wye’ section. The living memories of life and times in our village are growing.

The painting above shows the field between Occupation Road and Wibberley Way Woods. Last year it was a sea of bright blue Chicory flowers and the year before it was a blaze of Poppies. All courtesy of Ripple Farm Organics.

Recently walkers will have noticed that this field is being ploughed. This is in readiness for organic vegetables!

 After the long cold winter we have a lot to look forward to. There is plenty to inspire our creative folk in Wye and it’s surroundings, time to get busy!
