The Parish Council has been delivered an amended site map which includes the additional late submission by Alan Newill which is labelled WYE02. In addition an A3 version is included in the exhibition in the church, which, by the way, will be staying up until next Monday (4 Feb) with the kind permission of the vicar. Continue Reading »

About a hundred or so villagers gathered into Wye Parish Church to listen to a summary of the results of the Wye Parish Plan Survey Part 1. The meeting lasted about an hour and a half and was introduced by Ian Coulson, the chairman of the Wye Parish Plan Steering Group (WPPSG).

I’m sorry to have to tell you that Wye Fayre won’t be happening this year, so please make sure we’re deleted from your diaries for 2008. Although it was critically acclaimed and received two nominations at the UK Festivals Awards: for Best New Festival and Best Grass Roots Festival. For various reasons, the organisers have decided not to hold a large scale Fayre in 2008, but to move it forward to summer 2009. Continue Reading »
